A better measure

I posted this on LinkedIn in July. It's the shortest version I have of what I believe about software.

For years, software has been measured by how effectively it can hold your attention.

How often you open it. How long you stay. How hard it is to put down.

I believe there's a better measure — how much it gives back.

More time. More capability. More space for the things that truly matter.

Everything we build at Platen is held to that measure.
